TITLE:What happen to Malaysia today?

Yuppie yup, 2 papers done.. and left another 2 more for my finals =]

**********

Recently, I was quite bothered by the racist issues which are getting serious in our country (Malaysia). Several weeks back, i've seen update on Facebook about the issue of racism causes by a principle from Johor, Siti Inshah Mansor.

A few days back, Namewee giving feedback criticizing on the issue of racism via a video upload and later on there's update on Namewee 黃明志 Official Page saying;

*****3 POLICE CARS FINALLY CAME TO MY MUAR HOME TO ARREST ME*****
this happened 15 minutes before our 53rd National Day Celebration, YES, I'm still here but for how long more, I don't know ... my beloved MALAYSIA, where is our justice system?

Consequent of the arrestment, here's a video on him giving a brief conference before heading into the police to have his statement taken.

And that's not it, more and more racism issues arises after that ...2 Chinese got beaten up when they are on their way to celebrate Malaysia 53rd Independence Day... -_-"

Geezzz..what happen to our country nowadays?
  • Where is the so called "1 Malaysia", the on-going public relations by our prime minister?!
  • Where is the once harmony and peaceful country which made up of different races?!
  • Should the issue of racism started by just several persons bring such a huge influence towards the relationship between the Chinese and Malay ?!
  • Should this issue make us change our perception and added the feeling of  "hate" when we saw the Chinese or Malay?!
  • Is it something to be proud of by showing the rest of the world what happen to Malaysia today?!
PLEASE don't play the race card because I truly believe that not all Malay are racism and the issue of racism that happens today shouldn't have come between us all, Malay, Chinese and Indian. If we still blame each other for everything, so what's the point of fighting for independence 53 years ago? We shouldn't destroy the efforts and the time being put by our previous prime minister in achieving independence years ago by turning back on each other just because of this issue!

Well, there may not be turning back of time to stop this issue from arising, but i truly believe that we can still avoid the flame of this issue from getting bigger and bigger. I greatly hope that this issue won't bring any major negative effects to our existing relationship with other races.
